An Occupational Health recommendation can support a reasonable-adjustment request, though the legal duty does not depend on OH using particular wording. The practical task is to turn health advice into specific workplace changes that reduce a disability-related disadvantage.

OH advice is a starting point
Management should consider the report and discuss support with you. A recommendation may be accepted, adapted or replaced with another effective measure. Where disability is involved, the department must consider its reasonable-adjustment duties rather than treating the report as optional guidance with no further analysis.
Ask for a written decision
For each recommendation, ask what will be implemented, by whom, from what date and for how long. If a measure is refused, ask for the reasons and alternatives considered.
Members can unlock: an adjustment-building method, disadvantage-to-solution matrix, trial and review plan, evidence pack, refusal-response process and model wording for requesting, confirming and escalating adjustments.
