HEO, SEO and Grade 7 Civil Service Data Analyst CV and Relevant Skills and Experience examples
Civil Service Data Analyst applications often ask for Employment History and a separate Previous Skills and Experience or Relevant Skills and Experience section.
Employment History should usually remain a simple factual timeline. Relevant Skills and Experience should map your analytical evidence directly to the vacancy criteria.

Employment History
Use the simplest format the application allows:

Add responsibilities only where the vacancy asks for them. Keep the detailed criteria evidence in the Previous Skills and Experience section.
Relevant Skills and Experience
This section should make the vacancy criteria easy to score. Use the advert wording as a label where helpful, then give one concise piece of evidence showing the analytical setting, your contribution and the effect of the work.
~ Data preparation and quality: Cleaned and linked six months of application and outcome data, resolved duplicate identifiers and documented unmatched records before using the dataset for service analysis.
The example is concise and criterion-led. It makes the skill visible through a real analytical action and gives enough context to judge its relevance.
