How to show organisation and time management in an AA Civil Service personal statement
Organisation and time management are common requirements in Administrative Assistant job adverts. The wording may vary, but the sifter usually wants to see that you can manage your workload, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and keep work accurate.
At AA level, this should feel practical. A strong example could involve handling emails, scanning documents, updating records, booking appointments, managing post, preparing paperwork, or tracking daily tasks.
The strongest organisation examples show how you kept control of the work. The sifter should be able to see what needed doing, how you decided what to do first, and how your actions helped the work get completed properly.

It should also show the method you used. This could include checking urgent work first, using a task list, grouping similar tasks, updating a tracker, planning your day, or pausing lower priority work when something urgent came in.
A strong result can be simple. The work was completed on time, records stayed accurate, deadlines were met, the team could see progress, or urgent tasks were dealt with before they caused delay.
