How to show attention to detail in an AO personal statement
Attention to detail is strongest when the example explains what needed checking, why an error would matter and the exact method used to find or prevent it. AO evidence should show controlled accuracy, not a claim that you are a perfectionist.

Why a strong attention to detail answer works
A strong answer gives the sifter evidence instead of claims. A weak answer might say, “I have very good attention to detail and always double-check everything before I finish.” A strong answer shows the task, the applicant’s own actions and the outcome. The best answers also show judgement, such as knowing which details are high risk, when a second source or colleague is needed and how to correct a record without losing the audit trail. For an AO role, the example should remain practical and believable.
