How to show stakeholder communication in an AO personal statement
For AO roles, stakeholders may be colleagues, managers, contractors, partner organisations, service users or another team. Strong evidence shows that you identified what each person needed, provided accurate and timely updates and created a clear route for action or escalation.

Why a strong stakeholder communication answer works
A strong answer gives the sifter evidence instead of claims. A weak answer might say, “I am confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels and keep everyone updated.” A strong answer shows the task, the applicant’s own actions and the outcome. The best answers also show judgement, such as giving each stakeholder enough relevant information without overloading them, while escalating risks early and protecting confidential details. For an AO role, the example should remain practical and believable.
