HEO, SEO and Grade 7 behaviour examples for Civil Service Data Analyst applications
Data Analyst behaviour examples are strongest when the behaviour is shown through a real analytical decision, challenge or improvement rather than a list of technical tasks.
The exact behaviours vary by campaign. Data Analyst roles can assess Making Effective Decisions, Communicating and Influencing, Changing and Improving, Seeing the Big Picture and other Success Profile behaviours according to the vacancy.

How to use these examples
Each statement is a complete worked example. Use the official behaviour wording as a planning check and keep the final account natural. The assessor should see your personal judgement and the result of your action.
What changes by grade
HEO and SEO use the same Success Profiles behaviour band, while SEO examples should usually show greater independence or complexity. Grade 7 evidence should show wider organisational impact and senior influence. Analytical leadership through others becomes more important as responsibility increases.
Members can continue for twelve complete Data Analyst behaviour statements: four at HEO, four at SEO and four at Grade 7.
