I am preparing for an EO interview that assesses behaviours. Most practice questions ask for a past example, but a colleague said their panel asked what they would do in a difficult customer situation.
I have prepared STAR stories and do not know whether I should force one into a hypothetical question.
Can behaviour interviews include this type of wording, and how should I answer it?

Civil Service interviews can include scenario-based or forward-looking questions where the campaign chooses that format. Follow the wording: explain the steps, judgement and review you would use, then draw on brief past evidence where it strengthens the answer.
