Grade 6 Stakeholder and Relationship Management Personal Statement Examples

Grade 6 personal statement examples
Show stakeholder and relationship management through evidence, not claims
For a Grade 6 application, stakeholder and relationship management means building credible relationships with senior, operational and external stakeholders so competing interests can be managed and shared outcomes delivered. The sifter needs a real situation, the choices you made and a result at the required scale.

Stakeholder and Relationship Management criteria vary between vacancies. A strong example should follow the wording in the advert and show Grade 6 accountability rather than relying on a generic statement about being experienced or strategic.

The best evidence uses one clear example for each criterion. It names the role and setting, explains the applicant’s personal responsibility, gives specific actions and ends with a result that proves the criterion.

What Grade 6 stakeholder and relationship management criteria can look like

  • Experience of managing complex senior stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to build effective partnerships across organisational boundaries
  • Experience of resolving conflict between stakeholders with competing priorities

Use the exact wording from your vacancy as the heading where possible. The examples on this page show common types of requirement, not a universal list used for every Grade 6 role.

What your stakeholder and relationship management example needs to show

  • who the stakeholders were and why they mattered
  • their different interests or constraints
  • how trust and governance were built
  • the joint outcome

Why a strong stakeholder and relationship management answer works

A strong answer gives the sifter evidence of building credible relationships with senior, operational and external stakeholders so competing interests can be managed and shared outcomes delivered. It identifies the applicant’s personal judgement and makes the wider consequence visible. A weak answer usually labels the applicant as experienced, strategic or influential without showing the decision, scale or result.
