Judgement Test Question 55 – The senior team is divided after an unpopular decision

Scenario
The executive board has decided to consolidate several regional teams. Two directors who opposed the decision are telling staff that they argued against it and cannot take responsibility for the outcome. Other board members want them instructed to show complete loyalty. Staff are receiving different messages and are unsure whether implementation will proceed. The decision is final, although local safeguards and the way the change is introduced can still be shaped. You chair the board and need to restore collective leadership without hiding legitimate concerns about implementation.
Rate the actions
For each action, choose Counterproductive, Ineffective, Fairly Effective or Effective.

Allow each director to explain their personal position so staff can judge the decision with full transparency.
