Scenario
A charity that helps deliver your service criticised the department at a public conference, saying repeated warnings about vulnerable users had been ignored. Several senior colleagues are angry and want to end the partnership. The charity's chief executive says private discussions produced no action and is considering withdrawing from a forthcoming campaign. You depend on the charity's reach and expertise, while the department also needs confidence that disagreements will be handled responsibly. You lead the relationship and need to decide how to respond.
