Practice level: HEO/SEO

Scenario

Your team uses hybrid meetings to make weekly operational decisions. Staff in the office often continue discussing an issue after the formal agenda item has moved on, while remote colleagues receive the final decision without hearing the reasoning. Two remote staff say they feel like observers and point to a recent decision that changed their workload without their input. Office colleagues say the informal conversation helps them solve problems quickly. You chair the meeting and want to retain useful discussion while making sure everyone can participate before decisions affecting their work are agreed.
