Judgement Test Question 50 – A director resists revisiting a failing decision

Scenario
A director chose one route for a national pilot despite concerns raised during planning. Early data now shows that rural users are finding the service much harder to access than expected. The director says changing course would damage credibility and asks you to focus the next board update on the strong overall take-up figures. You are responsible for the recommendation to the board. The pilot still has four months to run, and the current evidence is strong enough to show a material issue but not the full long-term effect.
Rate the actions
For each action, choose Counterproductive, Ineffective, Fairly Effective or Effective.

Ask another director to raise the concern at the board so you can preserve your working relationship with the decision owner.
