Practice level: EO

Scenario

A new online application form is due to launch next week. An accessibility tester finds that a required dropdown is not announced by common screen-reading software. The supplier says a permanent repair will take six weeks. The project lead says the launch date has senior attention and asks whether the finding can be described as minor because telephone staff can complete forms for customers. The call team warns that it has little spare capacity. You have the test evidence and can involve accessibility, digital and service colleagues. You need to challenge the pressure constructively and support a workable decision.
