Scenario
Lena produces strong analysis but becomes anxious when presenting to groups. A monthly partner forum offers a useful opportunity for her to explain part of the team's work. She has previously presented informally to colleagues and says she wants to improve, but asks you to deliver the whole forum presentation because she is worried about freezing in front of external attendees. The audience is usually supportive, the material can be divided into short sections and there is time for practice. You coordinate the presentation and need to help Lena develop without placing her in a situation that feels unmanageable.
Rate the actions
For each action, choose Counterproductive, Ineffective, Fairly Effective or Effective.
Action A
Ask a confident colleague to give Lena presentation tips and offer to rehearse with her before the forum.
