Scenario
Your team is under pressure to meet its daily case target. A colleague suggests marking routine cases as complete before the evidence scan has finished, then checking the scan later if time allows. The normal process requires the scan to be reviewed before completion because missing pages can change the outcome. No approved exception has been announced, even for straightforward cases. Your colleague says the shortcut will improve the team's figures and believes the remaining checks can be caught the next day. You need to decide whether to use the suggestion and how to respond to the pressure behind it.
Rate the actions
For each action, choose Counterproductive, Ineffective, Fairly Effective or Effective.

Ask the colleague to put the suggestion in writing before you decide whether to use it.
