Judgement Test Question 11 – Complex cases threaten the weekly target
Read the scenario and rate every action independently. Several actions can receive the same rating.

Scenario
You coordinate a team queue that must be reduced by Friday. On Wednesday, several cases turn out to be more complex than expected and require additional checks. Two experienced colleagues are carrying most of these cases, while newer colleagues have capacity but cannot complete every check without support. The weekly target remains important, and all required checks must still be completed. You can reorganise allocations, arrange short support sessions and book time with the officer who approves complex decisions. You need to keep delivery moving while avoiding rushed or unsupported case outcomes.
Rate the actions
For each action, choose Counterproductive, Ineffective, Fairly Effective or Effective.
Action A
Separate urgent and complex work, allocate cases by capacity and skill, arrange approval time and review progress each day so work can be adjusted early.
