A customer has applied for a grant to install a stair rail. You are checking whether the file can enter assessment under the urgent evidence rule.
Information provided
Grant guidance
A standard application must include an occupational therapist recommendation and two supplier quotes. Where the occupational therapist identifies an urgent safety risk, assessment may begin with one quote. Approval is still subject to financial and property checks.

One supplier quote is attached. Financial details and proof of residence are included.
Occupational therapist letter
The customer has fallen twice on the stairs. A rail should be installed within two weeks to reduce an urgent risk of further falls.
