Scenario

You sent an internal stock report to the colleague who prepares tomorrow's supply order. Ten minutes later, you notice that one figure was copied incorrectly from the source sheet. The error makes the available stock look higher than it really is, so the colleague may order too little if they use your report. The order has not yet been placed, and you can contact them directly. You are responsible for the report and can provide the corrected figure with a clear explanation. Acting quickly will reduce the risk of disruption and make the audit trail accurate.

Rate the actions

Action A

Change your local copy and hope nobody uses the version already sent.
