Reusing a Civil Service Personal Statement Across Similar Vacancies
Hello,
I have a HEO personal statement that scored 5 for an operational delivery role. I have now found two similar vacancies in other departments with the same word limit.
The responsibilities overlap heavily and several essential criteria use almost identical wording. Rewriting the whole statement feels unnecessary when the evidence has already scored well.
I would change the department name and a few sentences about the role. Is that enough, or should I rebuild the statement for every application?
I want to apply efficiently without lowering the quality.

Reuse the evidence and parts of the structure, then tailor the statement against the new advert from the start. A previous score shows that the evidence can work, while the new vacancy may place different weight on the same experience.
